SSH Announces Housing Registration Dates for Spring Semester 2027
Planning to study in Groningen in February 2027? If you are starting a Bachelor's or Master's degree or coming to Groningen for a semester exchange, finding accommodation should be one of your top priorities. SSH Student Housing has announced important registration and booking dates for the Spring Semester of 2027.
SSH offers furnished accommodation for international students attending the University of Groningen (UG) and Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Hanze UAS). However, the number of available rooms is limited, so make sure you know when to register!
University of Groningen - Spring Semester 2027
For incoming semester exchange students and new full-degree students starting in February 2027, SSH registration opens on Wednesday 21 October 2026 at 10:00 A.M. (Dutch local time).
Students can start booking their accommodation on Wednesday 11 November 2026 at 10:00 A.M. (Dutch local time).

Hanze University of Applied Sciences - Spring Semester 2027
For incoming semester exchange students at Hanze UAS, SSH registration opens on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 10:00 A.M. (local time).
Booking starts on Wednesday 4 November 2026 at 10:00 A.M. (local time). The exact rental period will be announced later.
SSH has not published separate Spring 2027 registration and booking dates for regular full-degree students starting at Hanze, yet. This post will be updated as soon as new information becomes available.

Make Sure You're Ready!
Registering with SSH is free, but your university must approve your registration before you can book accommodation. Do not register before your designated registration date, as the correct housing period will not yet be available.
